MT ZION GROUPS

Our Care Ministry is all about being there for you at all stages of life. We provide the opportunity for baby dedications, weddings, counseling, and funerals. We also are here to help you in whatever way we can such as hospital visits and by visiting people who can’t make it out of their house to service.

At Mt Zion Church we have many different groups for you to get involved in. Check out the groups below and get plugged in!

Our desire in the Men’s group is to equip men to truly become pillars of truth, integrity, strength, and leadership in their everyday lives. On a regular basis, we host events and fellowship opportunities for men to interact with one another and enrich their personal lives.

Check out the calendar for upcoming events or fill out our contact form if you have any questions.

We desire for every woman to find who she is in Christ! We understand that it is important to connect with other women for support and fellowship.

For this reason at our Women’s group, we offer many classes and small groups that have been specifically tailored to guide women through every stage of life. Check out the calendar for upcoming events or fill out our contact form if you have any questions.

If your 45+ and single, then you might be interested in our Singles group. We have gatherings multiple times a year and provide the opportunity for other singles to hangout and enjoy fellowship with each other. Check out the calendar for upcoming events or fill out our contact form if you have any questions.

The Stagecraft group provides scenery and set pieces for all Mt Zion productions. People involved include retired seniors, after-school teens, and weekend tradesman. Skill sets include: makers, crafters, carpenters, artists, seamstresses and tinkerers, and of course, people who just love to lend a helping hand.

If you’re interested in getting involved please fill out our volunteer form. Also, be sure to check out the calendar for upcoming events or fill out our contact form if you have any questions.

Our faith and relationship with God should be continually growing regardless of whether we are a new Christian or a mature Christian. To help make this process easier we have a few ways that will help you grow in God. These include: New Beginning’s class, water and Holy Spirit baptism, Marriage class, and our Discipleship class. To sign-up or to get more information, fill out our contact form.

Our Prayer group comes together and spends time in prayer, praying for specific purposes. We gather on Saturday’s at 10am for the Lord’s Prayer Service where we join together and pray for the burden that the Lord has for His Church and for His body in Auditorium A

We also pray before both Sunday and Wednesday services to believe for the move of the Lord upon the service, as well as to prepare your own heart to receive and to have ears to hear. For more information about our prayer group, just fill out our contact form. If you need prayer, please fill out our request prayer form.

Our Missions group coordinates both domestic and international missions trips to minister and share Christ’s love with others. If you would like to get involved in our next missions trip, fill out our contact form. Also, be sure to check out the event calendar for upcoming events.

Our Marketplace Leaders group is a place where business men and women gather together to study the Word of God and encourage each other to make an impact in their industry and field of work. Be sure to check out the calendar for upcoming events or fill out our contact form if you have any questions.

At Mt Zion we have quite a few ways people can get involved in fun activities and sports. We have a tennis league, a bowling league, and golf outings happening all the time. If you would like to get involved in some of these sports or have any questions, fill out our contact form and we will be in touch.

Our Facilities group does many things from decorating the church for the seasonal holidays to spring and fall clean-ups. Ushers, greeters, and our Welcome Team are part of the Facilities as well. If you have any questions about this group, please fill out our contact form.

HANDICAP PARKING

There is a designated handicap parking lot adjacent to Door #1 in the main parking lot. You can access this parking lot by entering at the Mt. Zion sign off Maybee Rd. Please note, there are a limited number of spaces in this lot so if a handicap space is needed, we encourage you to arrive early. Depending on traffic, we also have the ability to ‘drop off’ any family member with limited mobility at Door #1 and then it is possible for the driver to finish parking the vehicle and meet their family member in the center lobby. Again, if this is of interest, we recommend you arrive early. Otherwise, traffic patterns limit maneuverability in the parking lot to park your vehicle after Drop Off. We look forward to seeing you at our events and if you have any questions, please call us at (248) 391-6166.

ABOUT US

Focused on living a healthy lifestyle, the facility will offer classes to strengthen and define muscles, improve balance, and increase stamina. Coaches will be prepared to offer modifications to meet the level of each student in the class. Our facility is suitable for those just starting out on their journey and those who have been focused on fitness for a while. What to expect:

  • We encourage comfortable modest activewear and ask that you wear indoor sneakers when in the fitness center.
  • We offer two locker rooms with changing areas, one of which has showers.
  • We have all the fitness equipment you need but encourage you to bring your own yoga mat to class. We offer foam mats which are great for fitness and restorative yoga, but many prefer a thinner mat for slow flow classes.
