GIVING

Thank you for making a commitment to God, and His church, through your tithes and offerings! When we give our finances to the Lord as part of our worship, we establish a foundation of confidence in His provision for our lives. Giving our tithe to God honors Him as the source of our supply and is a demonstration of our faith.  Make a commitment to your giving and experience His blessing!

GIVING OPTIONS

If you have any questions about how you can give or run into any problems, please be sure to contact us!

Log into your online banking account or your bank app. Go to ‘send money via eMail’ or transfer money using ‘Zelle’. Enter our eMail address tithe@mtzion.org and follow all steps. Please be sure to let us know in the memo field if the money is for a special purpose such as the building fund. Click here for more information about Zelle.

We want to honor your giving by doing our part and recording it correctly. Please use the memo field as follows:

  • If this is your first time giving with us, please be sure to send us your contact information (address and phone number) so we can be sure to get you a contribution statement at year end.
  • If you have a ‘common name’ such as Smith or Wilson, please include an identifier in the memo field such as your house address.
  • If you are a Junior or Senior, please be sure to make note of that in the memo field.

If your bank or credit union does not participate in Zelle but uses an alternate processor to send funds using an eMail address please call the church office at 248.391.6166 and ask for Sona. We will be happy to help you set Mt Zion up as a recipient.

Many banks and credit unions also offer online bill pay where the financial institution mails the check on your behalf.  Feel free to send us your tithe/offering using online bill pay.  Just be sure to write ‘Tithe’ in the memo field and send to:

Use our Authorization for Fixed Withdrawals Form (this form should only be used for reoccurring, fixed withdrawals on a weekly or monthly basis). Once completed, drop the form in the offering plate or mail it to Mt. Zion Church, Attn: Accounting Dept, 4900 Maybee Road, Clarkston, MI 48348.

Please be sure to include a voided check or bank authorization. If using this method, all changes to your ACH request must be submitted in writing.

We do not offer a debit or credit card giving option. If you would still like to give online, please use Zelle.

Did you know that digital giving, although convenient, costs churches a lot of money. That’s because when you give online the processor takes their cut. While this is normal and legal business practice, it does mean that not all of your tithes and offerings actually go to Mt Zion Church. One way you can help is to cover the transaction costs by simply adding an additional 3% of the total amount you want to give. Even better, you could use Zelle to give and neither you nor Mt Zion will pay any fees.  If you still prefer to give using credit or debit card, please call the church and ask for Sheri Covarrubias. Thank you so much for giving!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Kroger Community Rewards program this past year–Mt Zion received nearly $3,000!

The NEW year begins on May 1, 2020; in order for Mt Zion to benefit again this upcoming year, all participants must sign up again AFTER April 1, 2020 (even if you signed up last year). Please follow the registration process below.

Click here to sign in to your Kroger account. If you do not have a Kroger account, you will need to create one using the number on your Kroger Plus Card. Once you have created your account, sign in to select our organization under “Community Rewards Information”. You will have the option to search for our organization–just type in Mt. Zion Temple (MUST include the period in “Mt.”) or provide our organization number (84957), select us from the list, and click “Save Changes”.

Once enrolled, Mt Zion will receive a percentage of your shopping purchases for the next year at no cost to you! Again, we thank you for your support this past year and look forward to another successful year of participation in the program.

Please Note: You can check the bottom of your receipt to make sure that you are still giving to Mt Zion–it will say:

1. Kroger Community Rewards

2. At your request, Kroger is donating to: Mt. Zion Temple

if you have questions regarding your contributions or giving statement, please contact us as follows:

Amidst a world filled with challenges, Matthew West invites you to experience the power of prayer like never before. Get ready for your favorites like “Hello, My Name Is,” “Truth Be Told,” and “The God Who Stays” that are sure to inspire! You won’t want to miss this evening where prayers become melodies, hearts are touched, and souls are encouraged. So mark your calendars and gather your friends and family for the “Don’t Stop Praying Tour” this spring. A limited number of VIP and Early Entry tickets are available. We hope to see YOU there!

HANDICAP PARKING

There is a designated handicap parking lot adjacent to Door #1 in the main parking lot. You can access this parking lot by entering at the Mt. Zion sign off Maybee Rd. Please note, there are a limited number of spaces in this lot so if a handicap space is needed, we encourage you to arrive early. Depending on traffic, we also have the ability to ‘drop off’ any family member with limited mobility at Door #1 and then it is possible for the driver to finish parking the vehicle and meet their family member in the center lobby. Again, if this is of interest, we recommend you arrive early. Otherwise, traffic patterns limit maneuverability in the parking lot to park your vehicle after Drop Off. We look forward to seeing you at our events and if you have any questions, please call us at (248) 391-6166.

ABOUT US

Focused on living a healthy lifestyle, the facility will offer classes to strengthen and define muscles, improve balance, and increase stamina. Coaches will be prepared to offer modifications to meet the level of each student in the class. Our facility is suitable for those just starting out on their journey and those who have been focused on fitness for a while. What to expect:

  • We encourage comfortable modest activewear and ask that you wear indoor sneakers when in the fitness center.
  • We offer two locker rooms with changing areas, one of which has showers.
  • We have all the fitness equipment you need but encourage you to bring your own yoga mat to class. We offer foam mats which are great for fitness and restorative yoga, but many prefer a thinner mat for slow flow classes.
