Focused on living a healthy lifestyle, the facility offers classes to strengthen and define muscles, improve balance, and increase stamina. Thanks to sponsorship from the Mt Zion congregation, all fitness, yoga and nutrition classes are free.
Timid about starting your fitness journey, our coaches will provide you with the appropriate modifications to meet your ability and help you grow on your journey. Our facility is suitable for those just starting out on their journey and those who have been focused on fitness for a while. What to expect:
- We encourage comfortable modest activewear and ask that you wear indoor sneakers when in the fitness center.
- We offer two locker rooms with changing areas, one of which has showers.
- We have all the fitness equipment you need but encourage you to bring your own yoga mat to class. We offer foam mats which are great for fitness and restorative yoga, but many prefer a thinner mat for slow flow classes.
CLASSES
BOOTCAMP
Shake things up and get moving with this 60-minute class. This class uses lighter weights, gets your heart rate up and keeps you moving. Using a variety of equipment, with an emphasis on dumbbells, kettlebells, rowers, bands, and bikes, you will leave this class stronger and empowered.
A balance of effort and ease. Over the 60 minutes you will be led through a series of poses, linking breath to your movement. Each pose will improve balance, mobility, and agility. While the diaphragmatic breath work will increase internal heat, massage internal organs, stimulate digestive system, improve lung capacity, boost mental stillness and mood.
Slow Flow
Yoga
Strength
&
Conditioning
For the bold and adventurous, this 60-minute class will use the full range of equipment, including: barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, sleds, fan bikes, and rowers. Coaches will use a mix of AMRAPs, EMOMs, ladders and intervals to help you improve your strength and performance energy.
Less motion through longer held postures, this class is gentle yet powerful in its ability to create space and relieve tension. Going deeper physically the class will target connective tissue, fascia and ligaments; mentally turning inward helping to connect mind, body and spirit.

Noel Janis2024-02-23OH WOW. This building is filled with kindness and acceptance. They are true Christians. Not judgemental or dismissive if you aren't just like them. Do great works in the community like FREE FITNESS CLASSES (until further notice if you're reading this in the future.) My husband and I started to eat healthy and exercise after an pregnancy loss. We didn't know what that meant for us. We are spiritual, but not "churchy." Boy, did God have something in store for us! We are still new here and finding our way spiritually, but Mt Zion fitness center has been so supportive and kind. The fitness classes are hard work and so enjoyable. I can literally feel the health and wellness increasing in my body daily. It is so much more effective than Planet Fitness' circuit training on machines that I was doing. Big shout out to the instructors JOSH and LAURA. My husband and so look forward to attending the gym each week. Thanks for a continued wonderful experience!Taylor Kooy2023-12-20Love the Strength & Conditioning class! New equipment and awesome coaches.Suzanne Tripp2022-12-14Am a 62 year old Registered Nurse and was recently diagnosed with osteoporosis. I know the best way to build bone back is weight bearing exercise. I was searching for a serious professional gym. The gym is right near my house so I joined. The coaches are awesome! The program is comparable to CrossFit which I belonged to 6 years ago. There is no need to be intimidated because the possible modifications for every exercise. I get lots or modifications. Great Christian environment. I am very blessed.Dis Guy2022-12-14This is a great gym. The trainers are motivating and are very supportive.
