Counselor’s Training 2 (must have passed CT 1) – Sign up is closed
This course begins on January 9th, 2023 at 6:30pm and deals with the skills necessary to effectively counsel. A strong emphasis is placed on listening and observation skills. The student is taught the skills necessary to evaluate the client and the presenting problem. Decision-making and goal setting strategies are taught. Other topics addressed are: Identifying and challenging thought patterns and behavior patterns, reflecting meaning and feeling with the purpose of clarification for the client, and the effect of perception upon choice. Class requirements include a major test, small group class interaction for practice and demonstration purposes, a belief statement, and class attendance. This class is closed to new students. The Ministries of Jesus – Sign up is closed
This course begins on January 10th, 2023 at 7:00pm. When Jesus Christ ascended into heaven, He gave gifts to men (Eph. 4:8). These include apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. This class will discuss these ministry gifts and how they function in the church. This class is closed to new students. Have questions or want more information, fill out our contact form.
Early Israelite History – Sign up is closed
This course begins on January 12th, 2023 at 7:00pm. This class will cover the Old Testament period from Joshua through Solomon. This includes the following books of the Bible: Joshua, Judges, Ruth, 1 & 2 Samuel, 1 Kings 1 – 11, 1 Chronicles, 2 Chronicles 1 – 11, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Solomon.
