Class information for our fall classes is posted no later than July 4th of each season. You may register at any time once the schedule becomes available. Class sizes are limited and registrations are accepted in the order in which they are received. We encourage you to register as soon as you know your schedule and can make a commitment to secure your spot. Classes will close when full and a waiting list will be started. Returning families will also have their registration fee waived if your registration is received on or before the Open House date.
Each year we also host a registration Open House. It is not required for you to wait until the Open House to register but if you would like assistance with completing your registration form, you need to audition for a specific class, or would like to meet our staff we encourage you to attend our Open House as follows:
Friday, August 18, 2023 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm
The Open House will be held at 4900 Maybee Rd, Clarkston MI 48348. Please enter at rear of building. The Mt. Zion Performing Arts entrance is Door #8 (parking lot signs read Office).
Please complete the Registration Form in it’s entirety at the time of registration. Costume and T-shirt sizing information is required for all dance students at time of registration. If incomplete, Mt. Zion Performing Arts is not responsible for ordering an incorrect costume size for your child(ren). Costumes are ordered as early as November in order for them to arrive on time for recital.

This simply confirms the form has been received by us and is being processed. Please note BOTH payment and costume information is needed to secure your enrollment.
There is an annual registration of $20 per family. This is waived as follows:
- New Families – mention this page and let us know this is your first class with us.
- Returning Families – register on or before the Registration Open House noted above.
Each family will be eMailed a link to download our recital performance. This eMail will be sent approximately two months after our recital finishes to give us time to edit the recording. The November billing will include a one-time $18 charge per family for this benefit. Feel free to share this recording with friends and family.
Online or mail in registrations are welcome and encouraged as soon as class information is published for the new season. However, in order to keep prices low, we are not staffed to provide confirmations of receipt of registrations or mail an invoice. Costume measurements and sizing is required at time of registration and payment must be received within 10 business days to reserve your spot in the class. Invoices are available for pick up during summer office hours or after classes begin in September.
Late Registrations after the first day of class are possible as noted below:
- New registrations for dance will be accepted until October 28, 2022.
- Registrations for dance classes received on or after October 29, 2022, will be accepted at the studio’s discretion. If accepted, the student may not be able to participate in recital.
