Operating a large and multi-faceted ministry requires a lot of people. Our “engine” runs at full-capacity because of the faithfulness of our amazing volunteers that serve week-in and week-out, whether in our community centers, outreach ministries, or within our weekly service teams. Literally, hundreds of volunteers are needed on a weekly basis for Mt. Zion to serve with excellence. Andy Slawick, who has been on-stage as our primary bass guitarist for over 28 years said, “My motivation for volunteering at Mt. Zion has been from God Himself. I am amazed at how His anointing has met me for EVERY long-term and short-term project I volunteered for. Whether it was for the sound department, teaching Understanding God, or in the music department, God’s faithfulness motivates me and His anointing continues to bless my hands so I can continue to support the ministry at Mt. Zion.” At first glance, one might think “they’re a large church- they probably don’t need my help.” Just the opposite is true. We need the gifts and talents of all that are willing and able to serve. We’d love the opportunity to help you find an area of service that suits you well.
