At Mt. Zion, we believe in developing successful families. Our family ministry supports parents with children from childbirth through the teenage years. During most service times, we have programs designed to meet the developmental and spiritual needs of your children, infant through fifth grade, with creative activities and lessons. Our youth, grades 6-12, have their own age appropriate service on Sunday and Wednesday evenings, providing a relevant word and after-service hangouts to encourage fellowship and a sense of belonging. We understand that kids are unique and will connect with God differently. At Mt. Zion's Children's Ministry, we use live music, drama, dance, puppets, sports, crafts, and technology as tools to enhance each child's experience with God in a meaningful and fun way. When you hear your kids say, "Mom, can we go back to Mt. Zion?" you will know that at Mt. Zion's Children's Ministry, it's more than just Sunday school.

Children are a vital part of the kingdom of God. Proverbs 22:6 implores us to, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." We gladly support parents in the responsibility of developing a strong spiritual foundation in the lives of their children. Our ultimate goal is to teach children about God and His Word. We seek to provide an opportunity for them to meet God and to experience His real and living presence.

In an effort to help you and your family experience the best of life, our structure for the children's program reflects the developmental stages that a child passes through in their natural growth. In order to facilitate your children's growth best, all of our leaders and staff undergo training that equips them to lead your children in the most effective manner possible.

Children's programs are available at every scheduled main service.
